WWE Raw match three results: Sasha Banks takes down Nikki Cross

This week, WWE Raw celebrated their season finale on Monday. Raw featured a Fatal 5 Way to find out the wrestler who will be challenging Seth Rollins as the Universal Champion for next week’s WWE Raw. This WWE Raw match featured Robert Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles. Rey Mysterio and Ricochet, who are adored by fans, were on the opposing team. After a series of twists and turns, Rey Mysterio emerged victorious. Seth Rollins will be facing The Fiend, also known as Bray Wyatt for his Hell in a Cell match.
 

WWE Raw: Sasha Banks takes down Nikki Cross

After The Viking Raiders vs. The O.C. and EC3 vs Rusev, Nikki Cross and Sasha Banks entered the ring to face each other. Right before her Hell in a Cell fight with Becky Lynch, Banks faced off against women’s tag team champion Nikki Cross in a singles match. With Bayley, SmackDown Women’s Champion backing up Sasha and Alexa Bliss supporting her tag partner, the elements of drama were already present. Cross was in control of the game early on as she dominated Banks with an arm drag.

However, Sasha fought her way back after the break. She blocked The Boss’ double knee attack and also scored a roll-up. She even executed the double knees for Nikki’s near-fall. Banks was constantly trying to work Cross over. Nikki however, gave back with a babyface comeback. Sasha Banks showed great vigilance as she took her leg out. She worked from over the limb, which forced Cross to fight from underneath. Nikki also did not give up as she sent Sasha shoulder-first into the steel post.

The duo continued a back-and-forth battle till Cross had The Boss trapped in the ring after she fired some punishing forearms to her chest. Just as she was about to deliver a twisting neck breaker, Bayley jumped in and prevented a pinfall. While Bliss laid out the SmakDown champion at ringside, Sasha Banks forced a tapout with the Bank Statement.

Ember Moon vs. Lacey Evans and Chad Gable vs Baron Corbin were the other matches for the day. Carmella also defeated Truth to win the 24/7 Championship.
