Cain Velasquez is reportedly in discussions with both WWE and AEW for a potential contract. If Velasquez signs with the WWE, a showdown with the ‘Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar could be worked out which is bound to draw a massive mainstream interest. There are also reports that claim Cain is open to a match against Lesnar sometime down the line.

Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez - Know What Makes This Fight So Interesting?

History  Between These Two Fighters

Lesnar and Velasquez have had an encounter in 2010 inside the UFC Octogan. Lesnar, the UFC heavyweight champion at the time was defending his title against Velasquez where he suffered a first-round TKO loss to the challenger. Things will only get interesting if this fight were to happen; but this time, inside a squared circle.

However, there are reports that note Velasquez would possibly undergo a knee surgery before a commitment to any wrestling organisation.

WWE RAW: Lesnar-Mysterio angle on last week’s RAW involving Son Dominick

Many believe the brutal attack by Lesnar on Mysterio and his son was to set up a feud between the two, but in fact, it could have been an angle used to set up a fight with Velasquez. The reported idea was that decimating a fellow Mexican would lead to Cain chase Lesnar for revenge.

Former WWE star Jack Swagger to join All Elite Wrestling

Jack Swagger, whose real name is Jake Hager, is a former collegiate wrestler and MMA star who competed at Bellator MMA. Hager is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and is reportedly in talks with AEW to sign a contract.

As per latest reports, there could be plans for Jack Hager to make a surprise debut on their inaugural episode of the AEW Dynamite.
