There have been a lot of speculations among WWE fans about the recent SmackDown drafts and after the massive FOX debut, it seems that things are getting lined up clear for the future. WWE has recently included Tyson Fury (former WBO, WBA, IBO, IBF Heavyweight Champion), Cain Velasquez (former UFC Heavyweight Champion) in their storyline and Brock Lesnar’s return in the blue brand has already created a lot of hype among WWE fans. The WWE drafts are going to take place on Friday, October 11 on SmackDown and October 14 for RAW. Here are some major predictions that might bless SmackDown with their presence and thrill the fans for the upcoming PPV.
After losing his Universal title against Seth Rollins, The Beast had his eyes on Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship belt. Kofi Kingston accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge for the title fight at SmackDown’s FOX debut and Lesnar managed to defeat Kofi Kingston in just 10 seconds. However, the entrance of Cain Velasquez after the match shocked Brock Lesnar and the entire WWE Universe. It seems that Brock Lesnar will stick to SmackDown in the recent draft after getting the WWE Championship belt around his waist.
Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso have been a staple in the tag-team division for SmackDown. The Uso brothers were drafted to RAW earlier this year which was shocking for a lot of WWE fans. The former SmackDown tag-team champions have high chances of returning to SmackDown in the upcoming drafts. The return of Jimmy and Jey will surely be exciting for WWE fans.
After a successful NXT career, Lacey Evans made her RAW debut earlier this year. However, she has not been a success with her feuds on RAW. After her RAW debut, Lacey Evans had a feud with Becky Lynch. She faced Becky twice for the RAW Women’s Championship and ended up losing both the times. Her feud with Natalya was not successful either and it seems that her journey with RAW might end for the timing.
The Miz is currently on the RAW roster but there are high chances of his return to the blue brand of WWE. His feud with Shinsuke Nakamura has been very interesting so far and WWE might take it ahead. Nakamura is currently the Intercontinental Champion and he has high chances of staying back at SmackDown. However, according to reports, WWE is planning to continue the feud by drafting Miz into SmackDown.
