Belgium beat Moldova 3-0 in ATP Cup Group C

Belgium got their ATP Cup campaign off to a winning start as they beat Moldova 3-0 in Sydney on Friday. Steve Darcis beat Moldova's world number 818 Alexander Cozbinov 6-4 7-6(4) 7-5 before David Goffin sealed the tie in less than 90 minutes against Radu Albot.

Earlier, the ATP Cup got off to an awkward start with the wrong national anthem played for Moldova. Organisers apologised to Moldovan officials after the anthem for their eastern European neighbours Romania echoed out over Ken Rosewall Arena.
