The 33-year old Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal overwhelmed his fans with a friendly and generous gesture. He rescued a young boy from the crowd of hustling teenagers to comfort him. The US Open's Twitter account shared the video of the incident and the netizens cannot contain their excitement. The video comes after the heartwarming moment where the women's defending champion Naomi Osaka hugged her crying fan.

Inside the Video

The US Open this year has donned the fans with various layers of excitement and happy moments. From Osaka to Nadal, every player has been stealing the hearts of the fans. Nadal was giving away autographs before his third-round match against South Korea’s Hyeon Chung when he found a young boy crying in the crowd. He picked up the boy in his arms and comforted him. His team started saying that the little boy was getting squished in the front.

He went ahead and condoled the boy by wiping his tears and his team from the background kept on saying, “Everything is going to be okay. How sweet is that of Rafa? The boy is trying to catch his breath. Oh, my goodness. Y'all are gonna make me cry on the set.” A team member went on to explain how kids are kept in the kids' zone and it got rowdy in between the kids when this small boy was in the front row. He later told the kid that “we will find your mom and dad.” Nadal then signed his cap and they took the kid away. The boy's father later shared a tweet thanking him.
