Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), recently ranked Novak Djokovic as 'World's number 1 Men's Singles Tennis Player'. The tennis champion has added a remarkable label to his name. His recent victory at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships was an iconic moment in the history of tennis sports fraternity. Novak vigilantly defeated Roger Federer over his brilliant final beat. The game ended at a scoreline of 13-12. The winner of 16 grand slam titles, unfortunately, did not reach the charts in the recent French and US Open matches.

Novak Djokovic expresses his woe- US Open 2019

Novak Djokovic lost to Stan Wawrinka in the recent US Open men's singles. While talking to the reporters, Novak Djokovic revealed about his poor performance and also that he felt bad for the crowd who came to watch his game. Talking about his injuries with the press, he said, "it is very frustrating when something like this comes between the biggest events of sports, and you have to withdraw from the game." The tennis player started complaining about an injury to his left shoulder in between the second round of the game. Novak's injury led him to a downfall during the biggest sporting event, leaving him in regrets.

Novak Djokovic believes fatherhood is a stress buster 

Champion Novak Djokovic saw a tremendous downfall in the US Open- men's singles. The player who has bagged on great achievements in the past feels bad about his recent performance in the US Open. In a press conference, Novak expressed, "I have different roles in my life. I am a tennis player and a father. Going back to my fatherhood duty will definitely help me redirect my faults, which is very important to me. But right now the situation is all mixed up. This is an unfortunate time and I have to face the consequences." Novak Djokovic does not share many family pictures on social media, but wife Jelena's feed gives a clear indication about Novak's family attachments.

French Open-2019

Novak Djokovic managed to reach the semi-finals of French Open 2019 but unfortunately lost to Dominic Thiem. The player saw two defeats in the same year that left him crestfallen. He expressed his gratitude towards Dominic and also congratulated him for his win. Postmatch, he attended a press conference where he passed on the message for Dominic, “I congratulate Dominic, he played great, especially in the important moments. He made some really good slices, managed to put one ball in the court at the end of the match. He showed why he is one of the best players in the world.”
