Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem has officially adopted a new-born koala baby in the Vienna zoo.
The yet unnamed baby is the first Koala born in the Vienna zoo.
Thiem described visiting his new godchild an "unbelievable experience" urging his fans to come and visit the zoo as well.
In order not to disturb the mother and child the tennis star posed with the baby's father "Wirri Wirri" instead, holding a certificate of his sponsorship.

Thiem is currently preparing for the upcoming Erste Bank tennis tournament in Vienna.
The tournament starts on October 26th featuring players like Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
