Details of CM Punk's WWE deal as UFC fighter makes comeback on WWE Backstage

According to a prominent sports website, CM Punk has pocketed a very lucrative deal with WWE after he made an explosive comeback. Sources also reveal CM Punk’s comeback will bring an end to his five-year spell with the UFC. Though it is not known whether CM Punk will be making a full-time return to WWE’s Backstage show or not. But it is expected that CM Punk will not be making his in-ring WWE comeback.

A few weeks ago, while talking on a radio show, CM Punk talked about WWE and revealed that his agents called him a few months ago and said that FOX is doing a WWE talk show (WWE Backstage) and assured CM Punk that he has to not deal with anyone from WWE. After hearing the deal, Punk’s reaction was "okay". Later, WWE COO Triple H also revealed that The Backstage show is being produced by FOX and not WWE. So, if FOX wants to hire Punk they can, WWE has nothing to do with it.

WWE: CM Punk appears on WWE Backstage show

For years, there were rumours that former WWE superstar CM Punk will be returning to the wrestling show, but today those rumours came true. After leaving WWE in 2014 under mysterious circumstances, CM Punk made a shocking, unannounced appearance on the recent episode of WWE Backstage. CM Punk, also known as Best in the World, made his comeback in the final moments for the show when Renee Young announced his return. Punk’s entrance music “Cult of Personality by Living Colour” filled the room and other hosts were left in shock.

FOX shared a video of Punk’s return, where former WWE Divas Champion Paige can be seen expressing her shock and asking, “Is this for real”. After CM Punk made his return, he joined other hosts and said, “It’s as simple as this. Just when they think they’ve got the answers, I change the culture,” to the camera. CM Punk also revealed that he will feature in the upcoming episode of WWE Backstage.
