The documentary based on the life of UFC legend and WWE superstar Ronda Rousey is set to release on Tuesday, November 19. The documentary named “The Ronda Rousey Story: Through My Father’s Eyes” is produced by Lionsgate Pictures and will follow Rousey on her rough and ground-breaking journey into MMA and UFC. It is not confirmed whether the documentary will show anything about Ronda’s WWE career.
Many UFC and MMA legends are set to make an appearance in the documentary and UFC president Dana White can be seen calling Ronda Rousey a 'superhero' in the trailer. White also hailed Rousey and said that she has changed the way women look at themselves as well as the way little girls look at achieving anything they put their minds to. In the trailer, White can also be heard saying that there are people who want to be champions and there are people who want to be the best, and then there are some who want to be best ever, a legend and that’s what Ronda always wants to be.
“I don’t ever remember a scenario where a woman could kick a man’s ass, until Ronda Rousey. She is a Superhero,” said UFC president Dana White.
In the recent episode of Total Divas, Ronda Rousey revealed that she is planning to leave WWE and start a family with husband and former UFC heavyweight champion, Travis Browne. In the recent episode, Rousey can be seen talking to her trainer and fellow wrestler Natalya Neidhart, where she reveals that she has made a decision about her future. She added that she is going to do everything she can to bring a spotlight to women's evolution. Then, she is going to have a baby. After Rousey's comment, Natalya said, “The focus, on Raw especially, has been on Ronda. So, to lose her, it's going to be a big void in the division."
