Jeff Hardy removed from RingsideFest line-up, replacements announced

Jeff Hardy has been pulled from the line-up of the 2019 RingsideFest which was set to happen on November 3. Hardy will be appearing in court in relation to the October 3 event where Hardy was arrested for driving while being impaired. RingsideFest made the announcement on its Twitter.

RingsideFest announce Replacements

Jeff Hardy was arrested on October 3 after the police were tipped off about an irresponsible driver. He reportedly did not cooperate with the police when they wanted to take his blood sample. Jeff Hardy cited that he had a fight with his wife and had also consumed two shots of Vodka. Hardy was also driving on a revoked licence.

The WWE superstar has to appear in the court relating to these charges on November 7 and the same is being cited as the reason for him being pulled from RingsideFest. RingsideFest took to Twitter to announce his absence from the line-up. The event will now have Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss replacing Hardy. RingsideFest is an annual convention that lets fans meet their favourite wrestler and also check out soon-to-be-released WWE toys. This year's guests include WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Ricochet, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Cross.

A rough year for Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy has had a rough 2019. The younger Hardy brother managed to win the WWE SmackDown Tag-Team Championships along with brother Matt in April. Hardy then suffered a knee injury and had to relinquish the title. Hardy was supposed to be out of action for six to nine months. It was being speculated that Hardy would be back in action by December or maybe even November, but his latest brush with the law may delay his return.
