WWE: Alexa Bliss recovering from injury, expected to return soon

WWE recently revealed that the 'Goddess' suffered some injuries while training and now is currently in the recovering phase. Read more to know the full update.

After getting drafted to WWE SmackDown, Nikki Cross faced Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Her partner, Alexa Bliss who was rumoured to face the champ earlier, is currently missing from the blue brand show. WWE recently revealed that the goddess suffered some injuries while training and now is currently in the recovering phase. WWE also revealed that Bliss is recovering fast and can make her in-ring come back soon.

Before, WWE’s announcement, there were rumours that WWE has given Alexa Bliss some time off as they were focusing on the ongoing rivalry of Nikki Cross and Bayley. Alexa Bliss is a bigger character than Cross and bringing her with Cross is not good. Reports also stated that, when the storyline of Cross and Bayley gets over, Bliss would have made her smashing comeback.

The Goddess was last seen in the ring when she and her partner Nikki Cross, faced The Kabuki Warriors in WWE Hell in a Cell. The match was filled with incredible moments, but The Kabuki Warriors won the Women’s Tag Team Championship title by cheating. Alexa Bliss is not the only WWE star who is scheduled to make an in-ring comeback soon, former WWE champion Jinder Mahal is also scheduled to return to action on 2020.

WWE: Jinder Mahal to make a comeback soon

It’s been months since former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal played his last match and recently, Jinder Mahal revealed that he would be returning to the ring next year. The Modern-Day Maharaja played his last match in June against Ali after which he took some time off from the ring to undergo surgery. According to American media reports, Mahal is scheduled to make his in-ring return in January 2020 at the Royal Rumble PPV. During an interview with an American website, Mahal revealed that he underwent knee surgery a couple of months ago and is currently recovering.
