Becky Lynch has ruled the Women’s Division with an iron fist ever since she first grabbed the WWE Women's Championship. Lynch has successfully defeated everyone that was put in front of her and retained the title each and every time.
It was 12 months ago that Becky shared this on her Twitter:
And it was yesterday that she took to her Twitter to remind everyone when she first referred to herself as 'The Man' as she celebrated the anniversary.
One year ago today I said the words, “I am The Man” and it started the greatest 12 month ascent in WWE history. I was trying to turn on you, but you wouldn’t let me. You were all right. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/oquxwDQoJ1— The Man (@BeckyLynchWWE) October 18, 2019
It was around this time that she became one of the biggest female stars in the WWE having held both the Raw & SmackDown Women’s Championships at the same time. She also headlined WrestleMania and beat Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey before walking away as the undisputed champion, becoming the only women in WWE history to ever do it.
Becky Lynch has held onto the WWE Raw Women's championship ever since and arguably had the most noteworthy storyline in WWE. To top things off, she has been featured on the cover of the latest WWE 2K video game and ESPN The Magazine. If this was not enough, she became the number one overall pick on last week's WWE SmackDown in night one of the Draft.
Furthermore, WWE has also shared a tweet praising Becky Lynch on her success.
