WWE confirms signing of Jade Cargill, Triple H says 'she is here to change the game'
It was always expected that Jade Cargill will sign with WWE after leaving All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It is known that Cargill is likely to be fast-tracked.

After months of speculation, WWE have confirmed that former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has signed a multi-year year contract with the company. It was always expected that Jade Cargill would sign with WWE after leaving All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It is known that Cargill is likely to be fast-tracked into the main roster and WWE has big plans for her.

"WWE today announced it has signed Jade Cargill to a multi-year contract. The news was first reported by ESPN. Cargill, a standout performer who has earned accolades as an industry-renowned talent, will begin training today at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando," WWE confirmed in a statement.

WWE recently released a number of wrestlers from the roster before the signing of Cargill. It remains to be seen how WWE plans the entry of one of the biggest female pro wrestlers in the world.

WWE Releases 2023: Who all have been released from WWE?
Since the breakout of the news, the followers of the sport have been vocal on social media about the unexpected release of the superstars and many have expressed disappointment with the company. Besides the fans, many wrestlers who were told about the termination of their contract took to X to announce the end of their stint with the leading wrestling promotion in the world. Varied reactions came out but most of them shared gratification to the WWE for the opportunity.
Following the merger with UFC and the emergence of TKO holdings, the first major layoffs of WWE superstars have taken. More than 15 names have been scrapped from the roster. Elias, Shelton Benjamin, and Dolph Ziggler are among the superstars who have been released by the company.
