WWE Crown Jewel: The Fiend defeats Seth Rollins to win the Universal title

This brawl was the result of the rivalry between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. The match started with The Fiend's aura taking over, perfectly fitting the theme of the PPW event. Wyatt attacked immediately, but Rollins managed to evade him. A running crossbody by Wyatt brought the champion down, and the venue filled with chants of 'yowie wowie'. The Fiend then took the fight to the stands and continued to attack Rollins.

Rollins recovered once in the stands and brought the fight back to the ringside after he sent Wyatt crashing into the LED boards. Wyatt was not deterred, as he stood back up and slammed Rollins back first on the apron. Rollins continued to fight back and sent Wyatt into the guardrail, attacking his rival with a series of tope suicidas. Rollins even used the announce table to beat The Fiend. He then used a steel chair to blast Wyatt's face and also retrieved the sledgehammer used during their Hell in a Cell match. However, The Fiend jumped up before Rollins could attack and carried out the Mandible Claw.

Rollins came back by using the weapon on Wyatt's midsection, but the latter recovered and slammed Rollins on the announce table. Wyatt set Rollins up on a table and took off for a senton, but Rollins rolled out of the way. The Fiend crashed into the table, but Rollins was only able to contain him for one count. Wyatt shoved Rollins off and teased a Sister Abigail, but Rollins responded with an enzuigiri. He used the steel steps to bring Wyatt down and stomped on the exposed concrete floor.

Wyatt finally delivered a Sister Abigail for Rollins' near-fall, but Rollins escaped and continuously stomped down to take Wyatt down. The audience booed as Rollins delivered his eighth stomp of the match. After a series of superkicks, Fiends went and crashed into the pyrotechnics area. Rollins was proceeding to finish The Fiend off, but Wyatt got up as nothing had happened. He applied the Mandible Claw first and then executed Sister Abigail on the floor for the win.
