Lesnar beats Velasquez in a quick match

In a match which was looked a lot more like boxing and MMA than wrestling, Brock Lesnar emerged victorious again a fierce Cain Velasquez. The match started with the introduction of the competitors in a very boxing-esque style as both competitors held their corners along with a manager/motivator - Heyman for Lesnar and Mysterio for Velasquez. As the bell was sounded, both fighters were more tactical in their approach only taking shots which were more probable of landing.

After a period of conservative effort, Velasquez exploded on Lesnar - pinning him to the ground and hitting him with left and rights. Lesnar looked out of it until he managed to get Velasquez into the Kimura lock. After a brief struggle, Velasquez tapped out, the bell was sounded, but Lesnar would not let go. Brock kept Velasquez in the lock as the latter writhed in pain.

Mysterio gets revenge

As Velasquez struggled with an insistent Lesnar, Rey Mysterio hit Lesnar with a chair, only to be quickly thrown out of the ring. As Brock got back to Velasquez and began hitting him again, Mysterio returned with another chair and started beating Lesnar as if his survival depended on it. Lesnar, defenceless, struggled as Mysterio kept landing strong blows on the WWE Champion. Lesnar narrowly slid out of the ring, to escape a furious Mysterio. An agitated Mysterio who had clearly not had enough urged Lesnar to get back into the ring. Brock tended to his injuries and walked away with Paul Heyman, only staring at Mysterio in horror and fury.
