WWE Draft 2019: Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns top picks for Raw, Smackdown

WWE Draft 2019 took place in this week's episode of SmackDown but with a twist as the 'Wild Card' rule was eliminated from the equation, making it interesting

After the premiere of WWE SmackDown on Fox last week, this week's episode featured the WWE Draft 2019. This year, the draft happened with the elimination of the 'Wild Card' rule. In order to choose which brand would get the first pick this year, former Shield members Romen Reigns and current Universal Champion Seth Rollins faced Rollins and won the match via disqualification after his Hell in a Cell 2019 competitor Bray Wyatt aka 'The Fiend'' attacked him.

Round 1

With the red brand getting the chance to make the first pick, Raw roped in Becky Lynch. In the current set up, ‘The Man’ is a hot proposition for both the brands considering the immense popularity she has among fans. Raw also picked up The O.C. (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) and Drew McIntyre. On the other hand, SmackDown roped in Roman Reigns as their first pick of the night. 'The Fiend' was the next pick for the blue brand.

Round 2

The monster among men, Braun Strowman was picked up by SmackDown. 'The Viper' Randy Orton, Ricochet and Bobby Lashley will now feature on Raw.

Round 3

Kevin Owens, who defeated Shane McMahon in last week's episode of SmackDown to save his job, will now wrestle on Raw. On the other hand, former Tag Team champions 'The Revival' will wrestle on SmackDown. Lacey Evans was picked by SmackDown, while Alexa Bliss and Natalya were picked up by Raw.

Round 4

Alexa Bliss' partner Nikki Cross was drafted into Raw by along with the Street Profits and Viking Raiders, who will feature in the Tag team matches. Lucha House Party and The Heavy Machinery will feature in SmackDown's Tag Team matches.
