This week saw the conclusion of the controversial WWE Draft with many superstars moving from one band to other. Though many praised the company for some picks, there were some decisions which raised some eyebrows. One such decision was to separate the funny duo of R-Truth and Carmella. R-Truth was moved to RAW, while his partner Carmella was shifted to SmackDown. According to reports, however, this situation can be taken care of in the upcoming WWE episodes. Despite this, there were many problems solved by WWE in the recently concluded draft. Fans were requesting for these changes for years, and this year the company listened and gave them what they wanted.

Some problems WWE solved with the 2019 Draft:

Giving SmackDown more A-list superstars

Earlier, SmackDown consisted of many A-list wrestlers like John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and many others. But, John Cena decided to take some time off and Daniel Bryan suffered a severe neck injury. That left SmackDown with only Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston and few others which also took the ratings of the blue band show down. But now with the inclusion of superstars like Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt, the blue band show has got his lost power back and is ready to compete with RAW on the rating charts.

WWE Draft: Separating the heavy hitters

For the past few months, all the heavy hitters of WWE like Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley were seen only on RAW. But with the recent Draft, these wrestlers have been separated, which is an excellent decision by the officials. Only Bobby Lashley is on RAW, while Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman have been moved to SmackDown. Bobby Lashley has a big chance to grow as he can now face anyone in the RAW roster.

WWE Draft: Wild Card Rule

The wild card rule was officially introduced by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon on May 2019 and according to the rule, some wrestlers from a band can be allowed to go to the other band for a night. However, any unauthorised appearance from a wrestler can lead him to be fined and even suspended. This controversial rule was demolished by FOX last week. FOX announced this on Twitter with the picture of a burning candle with “Wild Card rule May 2019 - October 2019” written on it.
