Last year at the Super ShowDown match, Mansoor became the first Saudi wrestler to win the 51-Man Battle Royal. Earlier, it was announced that Mansoor will face Cesaro in a singles match at upcoming WWE Crown Jewel PPV. Mansoor eliminated The Swiss Cyborg with a scintillating dropkick during the battle royal on Super ShowDown event. Cesaro will look to stop the raise of Mansoor and would like to take his revenge. The two will face each other in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 31, 2019.
Mansoor was one of the eight Saudi wrestlers to be scouted by WWE ahead of 2018's WWE Greatest Royal Rumble. He was then trained by WWE officials and other superstars at the WWE Performance Center in Jeddah. In the event, Mansoor and other Saudi Superstars were also seen getting into a fight with Iranian WWE Superstars Shawn Daivari and Ariya Daivari. Mansoor made his WWE debut in an NXT Live Event on September 6, 2018, under the name of Mansoor Al-Shehail. Though he displayed good skills, he lost the match against Luke Menzies. His first televised match was against Jaxson Ryker which he again lost. His losing streak ended when he won the 51-Man Battle Royal at the 2019 Super Showdown by last eliminating Elias.
Apart from Mansoor’s match, fans will be looking forward to seeing Brock Lesnar going up against Cain Velasquez. The first man Brock Lesnar will defend his newly won WWE Championship title is against Cain Velasquez. If you’re unaware, Cain knocked out Lesnar to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship from him. After his defeat, Brock Lesnar was unable to fight for months.
Cain Velasquez made his WWE debut at the opening episode of SmackDown on FOX. During the episode, he took Brock Lesnar down and punished him by delivering several punches to The Beast. Lesnar fled from the ring with Paul Hayman and his WWE Championship belt. Cain Velasquez earlier revealed that he will again defeat Brock Lesnar and give him another scar on his face.
