WWE News: CM Punk to accept lucrative offer from NWA-based Aldis?

Reigning National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis reportedly came up with a lucrative proposal for the former WWE Superstar CM Punk. In a recent podcast, Aldis suggested that Punk could get a seven-figure per day if Punk will compete against him NWA PPV. CM Punk recently made waves in the professional wrestling community as the news of him trying for a position on the new WWE studio show on FOX Network’s FS1. The reports added that CM Punk interacted specifically with FOX and not WWE management.

WWE news: Fans expecting Punk's return

Nevertheless, the mere possibility of Punk returning to the wrestling scene has sparked a wave of excitement amongst the fans. Also, Aldis named few opponents whom he would like to face outside the NWA. He included Triple H, Brock Lesnar, John Cena and CM Punk as the only potential opponents of him. The NWA Champion added that NWA would host an event promoting Punk’s comeback to pro wrestling and CM Punk can keep half revenue of it.

Also, Aldis and CM Punk visited Harley Race’s funeral. He claimed that CM Punk should return to professional wrestling just like Race did. Aldis assured Punk that there would be a better promo than what was previously created for Aldis’ match against Cody Rhodes last year. He also claimed that showdown against him could sell out a venue in Chicago and Punk can earn a seven-figure pay with it.
