After getting defeated to WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley Last Week, Nikki Cross went on to face 'The Boss' Sasha Banks. Sasha Banks also made her in-ring return, months after her defeat in a Hell in a Cell Showdown against Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Since that defeat, 'The Boss' has rallied behind Bayley and she even helped her to defeat Cross and retain her championship.
The match started with Sasha Banks delivering pain to Cross, but the former Tag Team Champion got out and sent The Boss flying into her friend, the SmackDown women's champion Bayley. After returning from the break, Cross tried to build up some momentum, but she was unable too as former women’s champion countered every one of her moves. In the later part of the show, Both the superstars exchanged a series of near-falls, neither able to put the other down for the count.
But a backstabber followed with the Bank Statement forced Cross to submit and The Boss stood victorious. After the match, Bayley came to the ring and started attacking Cross. The SmackDown women's champion started delivering a series of punches to the underdog until the NXT women's champion Shayna Baszler came in and attacked Bayley again. After attacking Bayley, Baszler stood up and said that she got her eyes on Bayley.
Since the day Shayna Baszler won the NXT Women’s Championship, she has been dominating the ring and last week she displayed her power by punishing SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks. A few days ago, Shayna Baszler confronted RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch where she conferment that the Women’s Champion from all the three WWE brand will face each other in a triple threat match at WWE Survivor Series. The upcoming PPV is scheduled to happen on November 24, 2019 (November 25, 2019, in India).
