5 days to the opening cenemony, the torch relay for Tokyo 2020 continues in the Olympic city

Olympic torch relay continued in Tokyo on Sunday with 5 days ahead to the opening of the 2020 Summer Games.

The tenth day of the event saw the Olympic flame being transferred in the heat at Tokyo Central Wholesale Market Adachi Market, with limited numbers of spectators.

98 people participated the torch relay or "torch kiss" ceremony, who are from various fields of life, different ages and genders, including three foreigners.

Yuko Kato, two-time Olympian in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, bronze medal winner in the butterfly swimming team event, also stood on the stage, hoping to share her excitement for the Tokyo 2020 Games.

The final torchbearer of the day was Hideo Sato, a master of carving,  who ended the ceremony after lighting the cauldron on the stage.

The Tokyo Olympic torch relay is scheduled to visit all 47 prefectures of Japan over 121 days.

It will end on July 23rd at the Opening Ceremonies in Tokyo.
