Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, two former Indian captains also happen to be World Cup winners. While Sachin Tendulkar fulfilled his long standing dream of winning an ODI World Cup . Rahul Dravid delivered a T20 World Cup win for India as their Head Coach.

The Sachin Tendulkar-Rahul Dravid 194* Declaration Controversy

This is one controversy in Indian cricket that refuses to die down. For twenty odd years, Indian cricket fans have continued to speak about the shocking incident that transpired in 2004. India were locking horns with Pakistan , in Pakistan, in a three-match Test series. The first Test match was being played at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. This was the same Test match, in which former India opener Virender Sehwag had scored a blistering 309 off 375 balls.

But apart from Sehwag's triple century, today the Test match is remembered for another thing, Rahul Dravid's declaration. Sachin Tendulkar in the same Test match was unbeaten on 194. The 'Master Blaster' had hit 21 boundaries and played with a strike rate of 55.75. India had already scored a mammoth 675. This is when, Rahul Dravid chose to declare the innings with Tendulkar batting on 194*.

Aakash Chopra Reveals Sachin Tendulkar's Reaction To The Shock Declaration

Aakash Chopra, while speaking on the 2 Sloggers Podcast revealed how Sachin Tendulkar reacted to the entire scenario. Chopra admitted that Sachin Tendulkar was unhappy, but at he never lost his cool at any point in time. Chopra, who was still very new to international cricket also said that he was not a part of the conversations related to the entire declaration thing.

'I was a part of the dressing room and not a part of the conversations. To be very honest, I wasn't even trying to know what was happening. I was too young, but I know Paaji (Sachin Tendulkar) was not happy that day. It was the first time I actually saw him unhappy, but he never lost his cool. Sourav Ganguly was also a part of that dressing room, he wasn't playing but I think the decision was taken by the leadership group', Chopra further said.
