Former India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni turned 43 on July 7, 2024. MS Dhoni has been a stalwart of the game both for the country and his franchise and his fellow players have always spoken very highly of him. One of the greatest skippers and a wicket-keeper batsman the game has even seen, MS Dhoni bid adieu to international cricket on August 15, 2024. His last appearance in the Indian blues came in the IND vs NZ 2019 ODI World Cup semi-finals.

Chennai Super Kings' Special Post On MS Dhoni's Birthday

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and MS Dhoni are synonymous to each other and rightly so. Undoubtedly MS Dhoni has a cult fan following and has been adopted by Chennai as their own. For many years, MS Dhoni has been CSK's face, their guiding force. Even after stepping down from his leadership duties, MS Dhoni's impact on the franchise or on the league hasn't diminished even one bit. On the occasion of MS Dhoni's 43rd birthday, Chennai Super Kings posted a special video comprising of messages from the key players of the franchise.

In the video posted by Chennai Super Kings, their former all-rounder, one of the stars of the franchise, DJ Bravo recalled a tale about MS Dhoni and how he left his friends impressed.

I invited him home to my house and you know I invite some of my friends as well. They all came over and saw him there in my house interacting with my family and friends. It was very special and then you know when he left, everybody was so high appraise of him because of the person you know, we all see him as this mega superstar, but he is a very simple guy, simple individual.
