A rumour is doing the rounds that Hardik is moving towards Mumbai. It has been heard, no confirmation has come. As per the rumours, Hardik Pandya is in talks with Mumbai Indians and will be transferred from Gujarat Titans for an amount of INR 15 crore. In return, the Gujarat Titans will not take any player from MI. The transfer window for trading will close on November 26 whereas the IPL 2024 auction on December 19.

Will Hardik Pandya be named as captain of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024?

If Hardik Pandya is transferred to Mumbai Indians, there is very little probability that he will be allowed to lead the side in the initial few seasons. Mumbai Indians already have a well-experienced captain in the name of Rohit Sharma who has led them to 5 IPL titles. However, an official confirmation is yet to come from the team management regarding the rumours.
