The festival of Diwali brings families together to celebrate the festival of light and share some pleasant moments. This year, cricket fans have been relishing the ODI World Cup, with India facing the Netherlands in the final league match on the joyous occasion. Apart from the World Cup, IPL is also a mega celebration in India. Moreover, his year, the entire Delhi Capitals team also came forward to celebrate Diwali and shared some wonderful moments.

IPL's Delhi Capitals team players and staff come together to celebrate Diwali
The Delhi Capitals, on X [Formerly Twitter], shared a video of the entire contingent meeting on the bright and joyous occasion of Diwali. Stars like Rishabh Pant, who is currently in rehab after the car accident, met with his teammates and coaching staff. The video also features DC coach Ricky Ponting, who met and embraced the team captain. Rilee Rossouw, Manish Pandey, Khaleel Ahmed, and several other domestic cricketers were present. Manish Pandey can be observed handing out sweets towards each of his fellow players.

The video also featured Indian Cricket legend Sourav Ganguly, who is also a part of the Delhi-based franchise. Ponting and Pant were also seen handing out boxes of sweets to the players and the staff members of the team

Pant to be ready ahead of 2024 IPL: Sourav Ganguly
The anticipation of Rishabh Pant's return since the horrific car accident has been at an all-time high. To add excitement to the subject, Sourav Ganguly has offered an update on Pant's availability for IPL 2024. The Delhi Capitals' Director of Cricket shared that the team captain will make his return in the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League.
He's (Pant) good now. He will play in the IPL next season.
Rishabh won't be practising here though (at the trials). There's still time for him to get down to practice. By January (2024), he'll get even better, Ganguly said via PTI.
The fans will be eager to witness the grand return of Rishabh Pant.
