IPL 2024: Full list of players retained and released by Chennai Super Kings featuring MS Dhoni

The 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is around the corner and franchises are getting ready for the cash-rich tournament to begin. Ahead of the commencement of the mega event, an auction will be held in Dubai on December 19. Before the auction, all 10 teams unveiled the list of players they have retained and released for IPL 2024.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

The big news coming in from the Chennai Super Kings camp is that the franchise has retained the services of former India captain MS Dhoni. According to the list released by CSK, Dhoni will feature for the side in IPL 2024. Dhoni will remain the captain of Chennai in the next edition of the IPL. 

Retained Players: MS Dhoni (wk, c), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Deepak Chahar, Tushar Deshpande, Maheesh Theekshana, Simranjeet Singh, Matheesha Pathirana, Prashant Solanki, Mitchell Santner, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Ajinkya Rahane, Nishant Sindhu, Shaik Rasheed, Ajay Mandal.

Released Players: Ben Stokes, Ambati Rayudu, Dwayne Pretorious, Bhagath Varma, Subhranshu Senapati, Akash Singh, Kyle Jamieson, Sisanda Magala.
