Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took a veiled dig at Pakistan's former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif following the outstanding performances of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul in the Asia Cup Super Fours match between the arch-rivals on Monday. Jaffer made his comment on a previous social media post shared by Sharif on X (formerly Twitter) after Kohli's remarkable 47th century in ODI cricket.
Jaffer's hilarious dig at former Pakistan PM
In response to Sharif's tweet from the previous encounter between India and Pakistan during the ongoing Asia Cup on September 2, where he stated, "They cannot play him," Jaffer posted a picture of the current Indian head coach Rahul Dravid ringing a bell at a stadium without adding any caption. Sharif's post had come after Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in consecutive overs in India's opening match of the Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan.
