After wooing international cricket with his superlative six-hitting ability for more than a decade, Kiwi batter Martin Guptill hasn't dropped a beat even in the after-retirement phase of his career. On Tuesday, the 38-year-old reiterated that the gift of timing is still intact with him as during a Legends League Cricket match, Guptill timed the ball so perfectly that at one instance it flew straight to the commentary box, breaking the window en route. Watching the ball approaching, the commentators couldn't keep calm.

In match number 11 of the Legends League Cricket 2024, Southern Super Stars are up against Manipal Tigers at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. Batting first, Super Stars have put on an excellent total of 194/7 in 15 overs. The bearer of Super Stars' massive score was none other than former New Zealand batter Martin Guptill. He played a quick-fire knock of 68 in just 29 balls, which included 8 fours and 4 massive sixes. One of the six took down the commentary box and even broke the glass window of the facility. Here's the video of the maximum. Note the excitement of the commentators as the ball went toward them.
It was Martin Guptill's 4th consecutive six of Dan Christian in the 8th over of the Southern Super Stars innings. Watching the ball go the distance even the skipper of Manipal Tigers, Harbhajan Singh, couldn't take the sight off the ball.
These are a few of the many reactions on Martin Guptill's immaculate 6 in Legends League Cricket 2024.
