Indian team opener Mayank Agarwal continues on his merry way as he scored his second consecutive century in the second match of the three-match Test series being played against South Africa in Pune. However, Mayank Agarwal was able to only add 8 runs to his second Test century before he was dismissed. This is his second century in the tenth innings of the sixth Test match. Apart from this, he has also scored three half-centuries in this format.

This is the first time since 2009, that an opener has hit two consecutive centuries against South Africa. This feat was achieved by Virender Sehwag before Mayank.
