Meg Lanning revealed the exact reason behind his retirement decision
Meg Lanning opened up on her choice to announce her retirement to the media. The Victoria player said she believes her time has come to an end as she doesn't seem to find any motivation or spark to play the game anymore.
"I have achieved so much within the game and I have been lucky enough to have a successful career and be a part of very successful teams. I feel like now I've got nothing left to achieve on the international stage. For me I can't be half -in, half-out with anything. I guess that's where I have landed with this decision, it's that I no longer have the spark or motivation to do what needs to happen at this level. So for me, it's time to move on. There are a few people I would like to thank.
