Rohit Sharma is a fan-favourite of several Indian Cricket fans. But his nature to forget something has become a supremely entertaining aspect. His antics and stump mic conversations on the field are something which the fans love to see. Rohit is a true entertainer during games, and his tendency to use words like ye and wo, during the matches or at public events has amused the fans. One of the skipper's teammates recently opened up on working with Rohit Sharma and how he deals with his habit of using the words.

Shreyas Iyer Discusses Understanding Rohit Sharma's Communication Style, Says the Team Understands Him

At the CEAT Cricket Awards, Shreyas Iyer opened up on working with skipper Rohit Sharma and his distinct way of communicating with the team. The India batter responded by saying that the team members have had no issue with how Rohit speaks, as each one of them knows what he means to say.

“These are like fill-in-the-blanks for us. We just visualize whom he can refer to at that time and we understand his feelings. We have been playing together for so many years. And what he is trying to say is not that he keeps beating around the bush. We know what exactly he means,” Shreyas Iyer said in a video that is now viral over social media.

Rohit responded to Iyer's statement by saying that there is a simple story behind it. He asks all the players to be true to themselves on the field, and to do that, he needs to apply the rule to himself.

At the CEAT Cricket Awards in Mumbai, Rohit Sharma was presented with the Men’s International Cricketer of the Year award in Mumbai. Shreyas Iyer was also felicitated for his “Outstanding Leadership” during the IPL 2024 season when he led the Kolkata Knight Riders to a title win.

Rohit Sharma and Team India will soon be in action, and the Bangladesh Series is next in line. Rohit will be a part of the red-ball match-ups at home, which begin from September 19 onwards.
