The Asian Women's Cricket is about to be set ablaze as the Asia Cup is all set to begin on July 19, 2024. The clash of the arch-rivals, India vs Pakistan, is all set to take place at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium as hosts Sri Lanka look forward to host teams like Bangladesh, Malaysia, and more. The Sri Lanka Cricket announce the entire schedule of the Women's Cricket tournament. The matches will take place in the T20I format. The ACC tournament will allow the teams to acclimate for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup, which is set to be hosted in Bangladesh later this year. Ahead of the tournament, a massive announcement was made by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.

India is placed in Group A in the Asia Cup T20 competition together with Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Nepal; Group B is made up of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Thailand. There will be 15 games in all, including two semifinals and the championship, and all the matches will take place in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. On July 19, the Women in Blue will play their first game against archrivals Pakistan at Dambulla in the Women's T20 Asia Cup. A day later, hosts Sri Lanka will play their first match against Bangladesh.
Not only will the fans be able to witness a historic Indo-Pak clash in Women's cricket, but Sri Lanka Cricket announced that the stadium will be open for the fans, and they can enter the venue for free to witness the games, which includes all the match-ups.
"All the games will be broadcast live across international platforms, and the stadium will be kept open for the public to enter for free in order to witness the games," the media release mentioned.
