Rohit Sharma and Co. finished unbeaten in the round-robin stage of the 2023 ODI World Cup and defeated the Netherlands in their final match by 160 runs. The Indian team will now face New Zealand in the first semi-final of the tournament, which will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 15.

Shreyas Iyer turns furious at the Chinnaswamy crowd after catch drop 

Indian batter Shreyas Iyer apart from being adjudged the Player of the Match in the IND vs NED CWC 2023 match, engaged in a baffle with the spectators present at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru after he missed a catch opportunity.

India reaches eighth semifinals in their ODI World Cup history

Team India will play against New Zealand in the record eighth semi-final of the ODI World Cup and will be aiming to reach the finals of the tournament after eight years. The Indian team has not won an ICC trophy in the last 10 years and will want to end the drought on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Though, New Zealand will be a very tough opponent for the Indian team in the semi-finals of the ongoing ODI World Cup. The Indian team recently defeated the Kiwis in an ICC event after 20 years during the CWC 2023 round-robin match played at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The ‘Men in Blue’ have been the world champions twice and now they will have the best chance to win their third title at home. Apart from Team India, captain Rohit Sharma will also have the best chance to add his name to the elite list of Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni, who will have the world cup title beside his game.
