Abdul Razzaq, a former all-rounder for Pakistan, has been criticised before for making low-opined remarks about Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He has now been criticised again for making offensive comments about the Indian cricket team after they lost the World Cup 2023 final.

- Abdul Razzaq once again made snide remarks on India after the World Cup final
What did Abdul Razzaq say?
In a video that went viral on social media, Razzaq commented on India's loss to Australia in the ODI World Cup final on a talk show, saying, "It's great for cricket that India lost." Razzaq said some strange things when he said that India didn't deserve to win the World Cup 2023 final because they messed with the pitches too much. On the Pakistani TV programme "Hasna Mana Hai," Razzaq responded to a question concerning Australia's triumph over India in the end. He said:
“Indians were over-confident. Cricket won and India lost. Had India won the World Cup, it would have been a very sad moment for the game. They used conditions to their advantage and I have never seen such a bad pitch for any ICC final before. It's great for cricket that India lost,”
Razzaq tried to explain his position by saying that the two semi-finals were very different from each other. India played New Zealand in the first semi-final, which was a high-scoring game at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, where nearly 700 runs were scored. The second semi-final, which took place the next day at Kolkata's Eden Gardens, had a very different style of play.
Razzaq said that the pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the final was very different from the others. This was the basis of his case against India's right to win the World Cup 2023 final, as he said that the pitch had been manipulated too much. He added:

"Had India won, we would have felt very bad, because they were utilising the conditions, one semifinal they score 400, and the other team scores 350. In the other semifinal, 220-230 runs were scored. Then in the final 240 runs were scored. That means there is something wrong (with the conditions). There should be fair pitches, fair atmosphere, both teams should have balance. Today also India took advantage. Had Kohli (Virat) scored 100, then India would have won the World Cup,"
India went into the World Cup final with a strong 10-match perfect streak that included lopsided wins over several countries. However, they lost to Australia on the most important day. Indians won the toss and chose to bat first. They only made 240 runs, though. They put Australia under a lot of pressure at first by getting three quick wickets in the first Powerplay. However, Travis Head's second World Cup century was the key that sealed Australia's win with six wickets to spare.
