Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma's record-breaking ton helped Team India achieve a thumping victory over Afghanistan in the IND vs AFG ODI World Cup 2023 match played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. This was India's second win in the CWC 2023 and now will face Pakistan in their upcoming clash on October 14.

Huge ruckus evokes the India vs Afghanistan match as fans fight in the stands at the Arun Jaitley Stadium

Besides Team India's win in the India vs Afghanistan match, a video of a fight at the Arun Jaitley Stadium has gone viral on social media in which they can be seen hitting each other in the stands. The reason for the fight is yet to be confirmed and the users on social media have expressed their disappointment over the incident by reacting to the video.

Rohit Sharma shatters various records in the IND vs AFG CWC 2023 match 

Rohit Sharma scored his 31st ODI hundred in the India vs Afghanistan ODI World Cup 2023 match and also shattered a list of records. Rohit became the highest six-hitter in international cricket and surpassed West Indies legend Chris Gayle's previous record of 553 sixes. Rohit also scored his seventh ton in an ODI World Cup match, which helped him to get past Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar's record. He now has the most hundreds in the 50-over World Cup. 

The Indian cricket team will now face their arch nemesis, Pakistan,  in its next CWC 2023 match and will aim to continue their undefeated run against the visiting team.
