Team India became the victim of Murphy's Law

Team India's explosive run in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 ended on a disappointing note as on the day Australia turned out to be the better side. The Indian batting has been exceptional throughout the tournament but unfortunately, the off day arrived at the most unwanted time. The Men in Blue could only manage 240 after 50 overs and hence all the momentum was with Australia during the mid-innings. While the bowlers came charged up, it was only a matter of one big partnership, for Australia. Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne took the task and piled a massive 192-run stand to close the doors for India. Head's century knock and Labuschagne's temperamental 58 brought the doom to India's World Cup-winning chances.
