Rohit Sharma's homecoming in the ODI World Cup did not go to plan as the India captain fell for 4 runs in the first over of the India vs Sri Lanka match in the ODI World Cup. This was Rohit Sharma's first-ever World Cup match at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and he would have hoped to enthrall the fans in his home ground. But Dilshan Madushanka had other plans as he clean-bowled the batsman.

Sri Lanka skipper Kusal Mendis won the toss and elected to bowl against India in their World Cup match here on Thursday.

Dushan Hemantha comes in for Dhananjaya de Silva for Sri Lanka, while India fielded the same eleven that defeated England by 100 runs.
