After dominating the whole ODI World Cup 2023, the hosts India have become the first team to make a place in the finals of the tournament. The Indian team defeated New Zealand by 70 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai while defending a total of 398 runs.

The Indian cricket team was given a bit of a competition from Kiwi batters Daryl Mitchell and Kane Williamson while defending 398 runs but at last New Zealand were bundled for a score of 327 runs.
