IND vs BAN: Ravindra Jadeja named India's best fielder

Fielding coach T. Dilip awarded India's versatile all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja,  â€˜Best Fielder of the Match’ for his incredible diving catch at backward point during the match against Bangladesh on October 19. The match was played at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune. Jadeja's amazing catch proved to be crucial in taking out a well-positioned Mushfiqur Rahim, who was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah. India were able to control the run flow of Bangladesh in large part because of this important catch.

Jadeja took a remarkable catch with his non-dominant hand by diving to his right, demonstrating his excellent fielding abilities. Mohammed Siraj's bowling, this catch outperformed a terrific effort by KL Rahul behind the stumps, where the wicketkeeper dove in the opposite direction to catch Mehidy Hasan down the leg side. KL Rahul, Shardul Thakur and Virat Kohli have previously won the award for their fielding.
