The Pakistan cricket team, led by Babar Azam, has been officially knocked out of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. The Men in Green failed to qualify for the knockout stage of an ODI World Cup for the third time in a row. England posted a mammoth 337 runs on the board in their final league-stage match on Saturday, following which Pakistan were required to chase down the target in just 6.2 overs. The impossible equation for Pakistan meant their ouster from the competition and ensured another India vs New Zealand clash in the semifinal of the ODI World Cup.

India will now lock horns against New Zealand in the first semifinal of the ODI World Cup 2023 on November 15. The match is scheduled to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Australia and South Africa will play in the second semifinal on November 16. The second semifinal will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
