Papua New Guinea T20 World Cup 2024 Squad: Know the full squad, complete schedule, and match timing

The West Indies, who have won two T20 World Cups, beat Papua New Guinea (PNG) in their opening match by 5 wickets. Group C will see PNG in competition with Uganda, West Indies, Afghanistan, and New Zealand.

June 1 started the esteemed competition, and June 29 is the final. Twenty teams split up into four groups of five are competing in this co-hosted event between the USA and the West Indies. The top two teams from each group will move on to the Super-8 stage after each team plays four group matches. The remaining eight teams will be split up into two groups of four for the Super-8, with the top two from each group going on to the semi-finals.

June 26 and 27, are the dates of the semi-finals; June 29 is the day of the final in Barbados.

This is PNG's second time competing in the T20 World Cup; they made their debut in the 2021 competition in the UAE and Oman. PNG placed bottom in their group on their debut appearance after losing all three of their group games.

Papua New Guinea T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule

In two locations, PNG will compete in Group C of the 2024 T20 World Cup. Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana will host their first two games on June 3 and June 5. The Brian Lara Cricket Academy in San Fernando, Trinidad, will host the last two league games.
