After a night full of emotions, celebrations and partying, Rohit Sharma finally sent a message to every one of his fans on Social Media.
Rohit Sharma took to Instagram and shared a story in which he shared a snap with the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy lying next to his bed.

After heartbreak of November 19th when India lost the ODI World Cup 2023 final against Australia at home, there was a lot of talk about how the World Cup trophy will continue to evade Rohit Sharma.
However, in just over six months Team India under Rohit Sharma's leadership received the ultimate redemption and went on to win the T20 World Cup 2024 to bring home the nation the trophy that it so craved.

Rohit Sharma spoke as the winning captain and made it clear that it was a T20 World Cup victory that was years in the victory.
“Very hard to sum up what we have been through for the last three-four years. We work very hard as a team, lot has gone on behind the scenes. It is not today, it is what we have been doing for the last few years. We have played lots of high pressure games and come on the wrong side too. But the guys understand what is to be done when the back is against the wall, we stuck together and the guys, all of us really wanted to win this really bad. I am very proud of this bunch of boys to give us the liberty to play the way we want and execute. And credit needs to go to the management as well,” said Rohit Sharma.
It was the perfect way for Rohit Sharma to say goobye to the format on the international stage with a victory to ease all the pain and suffering of the last 11 years.
