India to face Afghanistan in Delhi
Team India are unlikely to bring in any changes for this game as they don't seem to be tinkering with the winning combination, Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the second game too and Ishan Kishan will have a second chance to rectify their mistakes. The southpaw was dismissed in a very poor manner and he will have the responsibility to lead the charge alongside Rohit Sharma who also endured a poor evening in Chennai. Suryakumar Yadav also took some long strides in the nets as he could be in the line to make his World Cup debut against Afghanistan. This was an optional practice session and the likes of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, K L Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav didn't play a part in it.
Will Rohit Sharma make any changes?
Rohit Sharma left the practice pretty early and there seems to be an injury scare around him. Virat and Rahul's batting performances will definitely be a welcoming news for the Men in Blue but in this long tournament, all the other batsmen also will be put through to paces.
