After the comfortable win over New Zealand, fielding coach T Dilip, in his customary style, motivated the Indian players in his speech, praising the efforts of players like Mohammed Siraj. KL Rahul, confident in his abilities, humorously expressed, "Sir, just give me the medal." However, the best fielder crown went to all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who took three brilliant catches in the deep during Mohammed Shami's explosive spell in the middle overs of the second innings.

Amid cheers, the dressing room witnessed images of Ravindra Jadeja's crucial match-winning catches during a ceremony. Last time's winner, Suryakumar Yadav was asked to present the medal to Jadeja. Suryakumar showered Jadeja with massive praise, saying, "Cheete ki chal, baaz ki nazar aur Royal Navghan ki fielding se koi nahi bach sakta hai (Speed of Cheetah, Vision of Hawk, And Royal Navghan’s fielding nobody can escape)."
