The Indian team exuded enthusiasm during their training session at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup clash against the Netherlands (NED) on Sunday, as captured in a video shared by the BCCI. Engaging in an innovative game of 'footvolley,' a blend of football and volleyball, the players, almost the entire squad, set up a playful atmosphere using plastic chairs as dividers between teams, sharing laughs and enjoyment.

Key players, including Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer, and Suryakumar Yadav, participated in the Footvolley game. This unique blend of football and volleyball showcased the camaraderie and involvement of these prominent members of the Indian team during their training session at the Chinnasway Stadium in Bengaluru ahead of the 2023 World Cup clash against The Netherlands.

India are poised to face New Zealand in the semifinals of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium on November 15. While the match against the Netherlands may not carry significant implications, the Men in Blue aim to maintain their winning streak and avoid complacency.

Considering the crucial role of players like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami in India's knockout stage prospects, there might be a possibility of them being rested, with Shardul Thakur and Prasidh Krishna getting an opportunity.
