Did the umpire take the decision too early?

As the boundary was up-close, the catch was thoroughly checked by the 3rd umpire. However, the on-field umpire's decision remained intact. In hindsight, upon closer inspection, some fans are off the view that the catch deserved another look from a different angle. In line with the same, a clip is going viral on social media which further raises doubts regarding a certain part of Surya's footing coming in contact with the boundary rope.

As the 3rd umpire efficiently availed the technology before coming to a conclusion, a debate on this might prove to be irrelevant.
