Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballers the sport has ever seen. He is one of the most successful footballers alongside Lionel Messi but at the same time Cristiano Ronaldo is also one of the most hated footballers. 

Ronaldo led Portugal to a mediocre Euro 2024 campaign as they got knocked out of Quarterfinals on penalties against France. Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score even a single goal and received a lot of criticism and hate for his performances. 

Every time, Cristiano Ronaldo fails to perform for Portugal and Al Nassr a lot of people come out and criticise the 5 time Ballon d'Or winner. However, the Portuguese superstar has come out and absolutely silenced all his haters with a brutal remark. 

Cristiano Ronaldo silences his haters 

Cristiano Ronaldo recently sat down with his former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand in an exclusive chat on his new YouTube channel ‘UR Cristiano’. 

In the chat Rio Ferdinand asked the 5-time Champions League winner about how he deals with the haters. To which the former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar simply replied he doesn't pay heed to his haters. 

Ronaldo brutally remarked he is the most followed person in the world hence people try to make a name of themselves by talking bad about him. 

“I am the most followed person in the world. When you talk about Cristiano badly you will be in the spotlight, it’s normal,” remarked Cristiano Ronaldo.
