Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski just expressed his opinions on the football attitude of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Polish striker underlined that Ronaldo drives in the game from his unwavering ambition and great need to achieve. This comes  In anticipation of their next UEFA Nations League game, when Poland will be facing Portugal, Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski stated his respect for Cristiano Ronaldo. According via Barca Universal and quoted by Sportskeeda, Robert Lewandowski said:

“Although he has achieved everything or almost everything, and he is 39 years old and approaching 40, it is clear that he has ambition, as he gets angry and nervous, and this shows his great ambition."

“I think if he didn’t have that anger, he might have looked like he was just playing for the sake of playing. But he clearly still has the desire, and he looks physically in very good shape, which shows that the path he chose was successful."

“Regardless of age, his numbers keep going up and not the other way around. Of course, he is an exception and there are very few exceptions like him,” he added.

Ronaldo is now the greatest scorer in football history thanks in big part to his extraordinary longevity. Currently 39 years old, he is vying for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. He just reached the amazing number of 900 career goals and spoke about the likelihood of surpassing the 1,000-goal mark.

Lewandowski also has a remarkable scoring record during his time at Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund. Comprising 417 goals and 107 assists in 552 career games, the 36-year-old is clearly among the best striker of his time. It is important to note that Cristiano Ronaldo is the player with the most goals in the UEFA Champions League history, and Lewandowski comes 3rd on the list and is the current active player participating with the most goals in the competition’s history.
