Football from Europe sparks a revolution in India, changing the way people watch sports

For Indian supporters, European football has always evoked strong emotion. Particularly in leagues like La Liga, stars from South America and Europe—including Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Lamine Yamal, Perdri, Gavi and Jude Bellingham—have become household names, captivating viewers all throughout the Indian subcontinent like never before. The current La Liga season's excitement is at an all-time high, with amazing games.

Using the GXR app, the new European football destination, fans in India can now really engage in the action. Owned by Dubai-based Galaxy Racer, the app has obtained streaming rights for La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 beginning in the 2024–25 season.

For the next six years, GXR has acquired official media rights for three elite European leagues including well-known teams such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG , AC Milan, Inter, AS Roma, Atlético Madrid and more. Ligue 1 will also be accessible for at least four seasons; the Serie A rights will be valid for four years. Fans would be thrilled to watch all of the free-to-air live matches across the Indian subcontinent.
