Group F and Group E played their last matches at Euro 2024 on Wednesday, paving the way for the quarterfinals. Only 16 of the original 24 teams have made it to the knockout stage of the tournament. All eight teams that finish in the top two spots in their respective groups, as well as the top four teams from each group that finished in third place, advance to the next round of the competition. Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, England, Denmark, Germany, Austria, France, Romania, Belgium, Portugal, and Turkey are the teams who have qualified from their respective groups. Also, the top four teams in the third position, namely Slovenia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Georgia, have advanced. Hungarian, Scottish, Croatian, Albanian, Serbian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Czech Republican teams have all been eliminated from the competition.
